Our office is located South of Broad Creek that divides the Southern part of Beaufort County from the the Northern part. We charge an additional $50.00 for travel North of Broad Creek. The area north includes the City of Beaufort, Lady's Island, St Helena Island, Fripp Island and the Town of Port Royal. South of Broad Creek includes the Towns of Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Sun City and Okatie. Commercial, Industrial and Machinery & Equipment Appraisal Fees vary based on location, size of project, purpose & intended use, complexity of the assignment, time, travel and distance. Once we establish where it is, what it is and the type of report needed, we can provide a not to exceed fee quote. Generally, the quoted fee for the appraisal does not include travel expenses, pretrial conferences and testimony. Those are charged as an extra based on our hourly rate. Travel expenses include: meals, lodging, airfare, car rental. Other charges may include: copies of plans and documents required to complete the assignment, postage, etc.
